When the dog bites; when the bee stings...

I'm sorry that this is so messed up looking, with all the long pictures and everything. But I'm bad at blogging.

When I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad! Sorry... I'm on a Sound of Music run right now...
I took all these photos - for the first time in maybe the 3 years I've owned my camera, I haven't once hooked it up to my computer with the little cable and put my pictures onto my laptop. So today I did, and here they are... oh, and not all of these are "favorites," but I like these photos. So...

My puppy, Pesto. She's adorable. Most dogs eat out of the bowl, but she brings her food over to a corner and drops like four pieces, then eats them up. She's just so sweet! Even though she kind of hates everyone else, but she loves the family and that's what counts.
Chandeliers. I adore them, and the house came with a few (the first one) - though we bout some of our own (i.e; the second one; the one with the strawberries and fruits). I think they add beauty and age to any house.

Flowers. Gorgeous.

My Mother's Thai and (I want to say... not sure...) Indonesian art pieces. Especially those four guys on the right.

Glassy-babies. They're so gorgeous. We have six. Two yellows, two reds and two different colors of blue.

I love these pictures. Don't ask me why... But I just like them. From left to right, that's toothpaste (yes, I know), spoons and my shoes with blue and yellow laces.

These tiles are gorgeous. The kitchen floor is all terra cotta, with squares like these interspersed. I love them to death, if that makes sense, even though they're tiles...

That's "Marklar" - no, I didn't name it - one of our chickens. She's so much prettier than the other chicken - Bo Peep - but they're both so sweet. Okay, well maybe Marklar is kind of mean, but that's all right.

These gorgeous flowers - okay, maybe not that pretty, but I like the contrast.

My Eggling! My friend Kelsey bought it for me before she moved, and I thought it was just the cutest thing! You crack open an "egg" and place some seeds in, and then you water them and then it just grows and makes cute little... sprouts! Mine never grew up properly, but they were still adorable.

i have been looking at your photos, and they are pretty good. i have noticed you like close perspective shots, have you considered investing in a macro lens? also have you considered opening your aperture wider to shorten the depth of field? (this is especially great for flowers.) keep shooting, what you've got is great.

thanks so much! yeah, I definitely like closer shots, and that might be a good idea, especially since I just got a new camera. thanks so much for the tips, and thanks so much for commenting!
