So... here's what I thought.
Jenny -
What a darling girl way back when. She was my favorite character - aside from the Queen Bee herself, Blaire. But then... poor little J. She met her new friend - Agnes - and I knew it would be trouble from the start! That brat - Agnes, of course - turned J into a whole new girl, and not one I quite fancy as much as before! She used to be so innocent and sweet... and now, well, she's a whole new story. So today, when Agnes and her tried to get a design manager, the two got in a huge fight. And, just like that, Agnes burned up all Jenny's gorgeous (that's a lie. I think her dresses are quite ugly, but that's just me. That plaid one... not gorgeous. at all.) dresses! Now, I personally have decided that Jenny is just out of my drama picture for the time being. Honestly, I don't care what she's done. Nothing she does will surprise me anymore. She's gone so far that I don't even enjoy watching that part of the show anymore.
Blaire -
Blaire turned 18! For one, loved her yellow skirt with the black t-shirt in the scene when she's on the phone with S. She's got amazing taste, no matter what. But today, there was a little bit of Mama Drama. B's mom has a new BF, and wow is he not what Blaire expected. She got all dolled up, hoping for a "dashing step-father," but what she got was short, squat and adorable little Cyrus - Wallace Shawn. When Blaire tries to have a 'grown-up' 18th birthday party -which we didn't see enough of, it looked really boring - and ends up attempting to ruin her mother's relationship, things backfire. Now Cyrus is the one calling the shots, and when S tried to botch things back up with her mother, she just felt worse. And does Leighton Meester have to be so beautiful? She's making all of us uglies feel bad. To summarize Blaire, "You have an agenda for everything." - Eleanor
Dan -
Not too much happening with Dan, aside from his writing career taking off when he decides to publicly trash the Bass family in the New Yorker. But when his story ends up pulling Chuck and his father closer together, it's a happy ending for everyone.
Chuck -
Chuck, Chuck, Chuck. Mr. Bass looked amazing as always, but we didn't see to much of him this episode. I liked it better when he and B were in their little Love Wars, now they're just plain boring. He and his Dad grew closer together, thanks to Chuck's efforts, and I thought it was really sweet.
Serena -
Does she have to look amazing in everything? Even in her scene with the nightgown and trench, she looked stunning. Blake Lively is gorgeous. And her style is amazing. So some issues came up with her new 'boyfriend' - even though they're not going out - Aaron. She knew him in camp. How sweet. But it seems like every time she sees him, he's with another girl! Just give up on him S, you can't have a relationship where he's dating like... 8 girls at one time! How is that okay? And Aaron is Cyrus' son... weird. Did not see that coming! Also, why does she keep ditching Blaire for Aaron? That's not okay either. Friends before flings. Always. That's like the law.
Others -
We didn't see Nate or Vanessa at all this episode, and we didn't really see Serena's Mom, either, which was disappointing. But apparently there will be some Nate Drama in the next episode, and what... his Dad comes back? He's not sleeping on Dan's floor anymore? What happened between him and J? Way too many unanswered questions. Don't want the season to end, though!
